Subject: FY 2009-10 7% Budget Reduction

All:

I have finished moving divisional operating funds out of departments and over to university-held funds for the 7% budget reduction.  As I stated previously, I will not actually reduce the university’s budget until the legislature finishes w/ the FY 09-10 budget; but this will allow you , and your departments, to view next year’s budget w/ the cuts removed. 

All budget revisions are dated 7/1/09, have a B02 rule code, and hit your FY 10 budget in Banner.  The following reference numbers apply:

AA – J0036935

BA – J0036938

CH – J0036823

IT - J0036821

PS – J0036887

SA – J0036822 (shift posn # 1644 to HRL)

UA – J0036794

We have also generated HR 3.30’s to move positions / funding into university-held funds.  Once we roll all positions into FY 09/10 (probably the last week of June) we will then go ahead and move the positions.  Again, all position actions have a 7/1/09 date.  I have copies of all HR 3.30’s and will deliver on Thursday.
