University of North Carolina Wilmington maintains
several attractive and affordable rental properties to accommodate
official university guests, visitors, interview candidates or newly
hired personnel. All university departments or organizations may
reserve these facilities.
College
Acres House: Located at 4762
College Acres Drive, adjacent to the campus, this three-bedroom
brick ranch is conveniently close to the main campus. It
has a kitchen, dining room, living room, den, study, two
baths, and is fully furnished, including washer and dryer,
linens, dishes, and pots and pans. Expanded cable, telephone,
and utilities are provided. High-speed internet access
is also provided at this location.

Padrick
House: Located at 8 North 17th
Street, this cozy two-bedroom classic bungalow is located
off Market Street, convenient to both campus and downtown.
It has a kitchen, study, living room, dining room, one bath,
and pantry, and is furnished with linens, dishes, and pots
and pans. Cable, telephone, high-speed internet access, utilities
and cleaning services are included. |
Wise
House Apartment: Located at 1713
Market Street, on the second floor of the Wise House, this
suite consists of one bedroom with a private bath, and may
be rented on a short-term basis. The suite offers unique
quarters in a historic antebellum-style mansion, and is furnished
with a queen-size bed, dresser, night table, desk and chair,
and television, with kitchen and sitting room privileges.
Linens are furnished, telephone and high-speed internet access,
and cleaning services are provided. |

Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis,
and should be made at least two weeks in advance of the desired
reservation date. Reservations for more than three consecutive
months for the same guest require prior approval from the Associate
VCBA-Business Services.
Keys are issued to the reserving university official,
at the Enterprise Risk Management Office (located in the Warehouse)
between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, on
the first day of reservation. Keys are to be returned to the Enterprise
Risk Management Office by noon on check-out day, to avoid an additional
day's charges. On weekends and university holidays, keys are returned
to the University Police desk.
The sponsoring university department or activity
is billed for rental charges monthly. Any long-distance charges,
damages, lost furnishings, or special cleaning costs are billed
to the sponsoring department or activity.
No smoking, no pets and no large social events are
allowed at these properties.
