Mi Gente at UNCW is an organization that exists to unite students of Hispanic heritage while at the same time inviting interested students of ALL backgrounds to learn about Hispanic/Latino cultures. In this respect, Mi Gente not only strives to bring awareness of the Hispanic/Latino community to the broader campus though various events and activities; they also strive to foster cultural understanding among its own members.
