Teaching:
Dr. Dockal teaches GLY 201 Introduction to Mineralogy, GLY 312 Sedimentary Petrology, and GLY 512 Carbonate Petrology.
Research Interests:
Dr. Dockal specializes in natural resource exploration and evaluation associated with carbonate rocks including the traditional sedimentary rocks, marble and carbonate bearing igneous rock. He is currently conducting geologic studies in Transylvania County, North Carolina; Yavapai County, Arizona; Dubuque County, Iowa; Gunnison and Grand counties Colorado; and Searcy County, Arkansas.
