Dr. Lisa Keenan
Academic Advisor
Ms. Lisa Keenan is the Academic Advisor for all undergraduate students pursuing a B.A. in elementary education at the Onslow Extension Site in Jacksonville. Ms. Keenan holds a B.S. from West Chester University, Pennsylvania and a M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction from Kutztown University, in Pennsylvania. Her professional background is in high school social studies. She has taught in public schools and at the university level.

Mr. Mark Phelps
Mark Phelps, M. Ed. is the Teacher Recruiter/Advisor for The Watson College of Education. He comes to us from Delaware where he taught Spanish for 6 years and helped develop the middle grades World Language program in Appoquinimink School District.
Mr. Phelps works closely with various groups, clubs and organizations within UNCW, as well as in the public schools of southeastern North Carolina, to recruit quality teachers into our school systems.
