Film International is a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to promoting intellectual film culture through a printed magazine and its online equivalent. The magazine focuses on longer essays with in-depth analysis, but also features interviews, festival reports, and an extensive review section on books, DVDs, and films. Its contributions have included distinguished scholars and journalists from around the world.
Interns will contact reviewers regarding deadlines, ect.; promote Film International and find new reviewers; contact and work with established publishers and distributors to obtain request copies of materials; research and pursue relationships with other publication; plane content for the future issues; write reviews for both the print journal and the website; and/or assist with other organizational issues.
