We encourage all students to get a head start on the advising and registration process by making an appointment with their advisor by the eighth week of the semester in order to review their degree audits, check curricular options, and insure that they are on schedule to graduate on time. By doing so well before the registration period, students will not lose valuable time trying to make an appointment when they can already be registering for classes. Advisors may not be able to see all students by the eighth week of classes, but students should contact their advisors by that time to make an appointment.
Handout for Majors
Film majors should download the Handout for Majors
or pick up a copy from the Film Studies Department Office; it contains important information about degree advising, registering for courses, applying for upper-level production classes, internships, and production equipment reservations
Questions
Questions about academic issues, course registration, and degree advising should be addressed to your advisor: Dr. Sue Richardson (richardsongr@uncw.edu, 910-962-3326), Glenn Pack (packg@uncw.edu, 910-962-7882), or Terry Linehan (linehant@uncw.edu, 910-962-2231).
