Salary Schedule
The salary schedule for SPA employees is issued by the Office of State Personnel when changes occur due to legislation by the General Assembly. Employees in non-banded classes are normally in classifications that have an associated salary grade. A permanent or time-limited employee’s salary falls between the minimum and the maximum of the grade as indicated on the salary schedule. An employee’s actual salary is affected by many things, such as his/her salary when he/she started with the state, the budget for the position, funds allocated by the General Assembly for salary increases, equity with other employees, promotions, reclassifications, and other salary increases authorized by policy.
The salary schedule currently in use is dated July 1, 2007.
