The primary purpose of ResNet is to provide access to UNCW's electronic resources, as well as educational and research related material on the Internet. It is also understood that there will be personal use of the ResNet student network. This personal use is allowed and encouraged as part of your UNCW educational experience. It is important to note that many guidelines and polices have been put into place to promote proper use of the network, where "proper use" is defined as use that does not negatively affect other users on the network and is not breaking UNCW Responsible Use of Electronic Resources Policy or state and federal laws. In order to facilitate the administration of the ResNet service and to maintain equitable use of limited network resources, additional policies apply to the use of this service.
