FTP with an Internet Browser
Open a web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator).
In the Address box type ftp://student.uncw.edu

To edit your folder, you will need to login:

Type in your email account username then your password.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7 then you will probably see a list of email ID's. What you will need to do is click on "Page" at the top right hand side of the screen and then click on "Open FTP site in Windows Explorer." You will then need to login again with your email username and email password. Once you login you will be looking at your web folder.
To add in folders or files:
Cut and Paste. right-click file/folder you want to move, choose cut. Replace your cursor in the FTP browser, right-click, choose Paste.
Drag and Drop: Right-click and hold on the file/folder you want to move, move cursor (while holding) to the FTP browser and release, choose "copy".
FTP to a Student Organization Directory
If you are a member of an UNCW student organization that has a web folder, you will need to use WS_FTP to access the \org directory from off campus
