Fake PayPal and eBay E-Mails
There have been many new phishing emails going around, and some of them can be very deceptive and real looking. PayPal and eBay are two of the companies often spoofed in emails, searching for personal information. In retaliation, both firms have posted Information on how to discern the fake emails from the real ones.

Credit Union Computer Fraud
There is an e-mail hoax that has been circulating that, on first glance, appears to be from the National Credit Union Administration. This e-mail is a "phishing" e-mail (see below) and should be immediately deleted.
If you receive the Credit Union, e-mail(s), please delete them!
Gone Phishing?
"Phishing" is a term used to describe the method used by malicious e-mailers that try and trick you into giving up private information.
But I don't even use that Bank!
"E-mail Spoofing" is used make you believe the e-mails you receive are from a reliable source. Once you click on a link in the e-mail, viruses and spyware might attempt to steal private information. Spoofing can also be used to trick users into downloading viruses to their computers. Thousands of ISPs and their e-mail users were inundated with a deluge of spam messages that many of them couldn't even read - because they were all in German.
