Brian Chandler teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on Spanish language and Latin American literature and cultures. His research focuses on contemporary Latin American narrative and theater, in particular the growing intersection of historiography, theater, and fiction in contemporary Mexican literature. Dr. Chandler has lived in Ecuador, Mexico, and most recently Spain, where he was director of the Semester in Santander program.
