The MPA program has two email lists through which it sends out mass communication to students, faculty, and staff. The MPAGRAD2 list is designed for program and community information. The MPAJobs list communicated job and internship announcements only.


What is the MPA Listserv?

MPAGRAD2 is the MPA Program’s primary method of communication for our current students, faculty, and staff.  All students are subscribed to “the list”.  We encourage students to feel free to send messages and ask questions.  Faculty use the list to send out program information, internship postings, meeting notices, invitations to events and other announcements.  Course specific announcements are not typically sent to the list.  Instead this type of information is sent to classes via SEAPORT, Blackboard, or addressing an email to the course number via Outlook.

How am I subscribed to the MPA Listserv?

The list administrators subscribes currently enrolled to the list upon the end of registration each semester. Once you are on the list, you will receive an automated message explaining list functions. 

How do I send mail to the MPA Listserv?

Sending mail to the list is just like sending it to a person.  In the To: box of your message simply type in the list address: , write your message and send it off.  Keep in mind that the entire MPA program is subscribed to this listserv. Only send items that should be addressed to the entire UNCW MPA population and do not send too many repeat items. Be sure to use proper business and email etiquette always.



The MPAJobs Listserv is the MPA Program's primary method of sharing job and internship announcements.

Unlike our other lists, no one is automatically subscribed by the program administrators. You can subscribe/unsubscribe by following the instructions at
