WHAT IS IT?
The MPA Listserv is the MPA Program's primary method of communication for our students, faculty, and staff. All current students, faculty, and staff are subscribed to the "list." We encourage students to feel free to send messages and ask questions. Faculty use the list to send out job, internship, meetings, invitations to events and other announcements. Course-specific announcements are not typically sent to the list unless it impacts a great number of students in the program. Instead course-specific information is sent to classes via SEAPORT or other methods selected by the professor of record. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR CAMPUS EMAIL!!
HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE?
The MPA Program Coordinator is the list administrator. Everyone is subscribed to the list upon being admitted to the program. Once you are on the list, you will receive an automated message explaining list functions. Users can be very self-sufficient or they may contact the list administrator for help, particularly list changes.
HOW DO I SEND MAIL TO MPAGRAD2?
Sending mail to the list is just like sending it to a person. In the To: box of your message, simply type in the list address: email@example.com, write your message and send it off. There are many people subscribed to the list. Messages can be about anything but be sure to use proper business and email etiquette.
