Web Portfolio Template - Current students are given ample web space by the university to create a web portfolio. We have created an easy customizable template for your use. It’s a MS Publisher file and can be easily used with other web hosting also (so you can take it with you after graduation). It's one of the easiest ways to gain web presence and sell yourself for jobs and internships. This template highlights your skills and provide room for samples of your work.

Below are the instructions on how to upload a page to the web (from TAC) and attached is the template.

  • Information about uploading to the student web server can be found at http://uncw.edu/itsd/studentwebsrv.htm
  • Once each student customizes the shell, they just need to go to ftp://student.uncw.edu and log in.
  • After logging in, the website files can be copied to the folder.
  • It is very similar to copying files onto a USB thumb drive.
