Professional Information

Ms. Roberta Allred, joins the School of Nursing as a lecturer. Her degrees include: MS in Advanced Community Health Nursing with a minor in Teaching, Texas Woman's University, and BSN, University of Illinois.

She is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and a Fellow of the American College of Childbirth educators. She is also a Doula (DONA) Inactive. Ms. Allred’s most recent professional experiences include: ASPO/Lamaze Certified Childbirth instructor at Rex Hospital in Raleigh for over 20 years, being a staff pediatric nurse at Duke University Medical Center for 13 years, and volunteering to be Doula for three couples.
