Teaching Expertise
Nancy Murdock has served as the Adult Health II Clinical Coordinator while at UNCW. In this role she is an instructor for student capstone and clinical experiences. In addition, she coordinates student placements for the senior student capstone experiences. While at UNCW she has also served as a clinical instructor for Maternal Infant course and Physical Assessment. She brings with her to UNCW a variety of experiences as an educator. In Valdosta State University she taught Health Promotions of Growing Families, was an instructor for Pharmacology Lab, a clinical Instructor for Nursing Leadership and clinical instructor for Community Health. At UVA she obtained her Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist degree which has provided many avenues for her both at the university and hospital setting. In the hospital setting she has served as a Clinical Education Specialist at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta Georgia. There she coordinated the educational opportunities at the hospital and supervised the educators as the facility. Additionally as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg Virginia one role component was staff education.
