Membership is contingent upon an invitation from the Nu Omega Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
Undergraduate students must:
- Complete one-half of the nursing curriculum
- Have at least a 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Rank in the upper 35% of their graduating class
- Meet the expectations of academic integrity
- Obtain two endorsements
Master's Degree students must have:
- Completed one-quarter of the nursing curriculum
- At least a GPA of 3.5 (based on a 4.0 scale)
Community Leaders must:
- Be a registered nurse
- Hold at least a baccalaureate degree in nursing or other field
- Have held a professional nursing degree for at least five years
- Have demonstrated marked achievement in nursing education, practice, research, administration, or publication.
