The fast track for tomorrow’s media professionals!
Our program consists of The Seahawk, the university’s campus weekly; Atlantis, the creative magazine of UNCW, published three times a year; TealTV, producers of the biweekly TV magazine “Seahawk Central News”; Flicker Film Society, a collective of student filmmakers and scriptwriters; sponsors of the annual Reel Teal Film Festival; and Hawkstream Radio, a fledgling streaming radio station.
The efforts of these autonomous student organizations are complemented by UNCW Student Media Sales & Marketing, a team of student staff providing advertising sales, promotions and publicity, and by the UNCW Student Media Board, a committee of students, faculty, university staff and local professionals who oversee budgets, policy and advising.
