UNCW Public History Program receives national award
The UNCW Public History Program has just received a national award, the National Council on Public History Student Project Award for its project Flashback: Community Life Through the Lens of Mack Munn, a travelling exhibit and oral history project now on display in the Randall Library. This award, given annually, recognizes excellence in student work. It provides a travel stipend to attend the NCPH national meeting, recognition at an awards banquet, and an article in Public History News. Lead curators Jennifer Scott and Erica Hague will be accepting this award in Milwaukee in the spring.
