Science Overview

Course Description:

This module focuses on the basics of science content and pedagogy. It will include such topic areas as instructional planning, course development, classroom management, and assessment. Middle school participants will focus primarily on the seventh grade curriculum with transitions from sixth and into eighth. High school participants will focus on a content area of their choice.

The format for class sessions will include direct instruction, group work, hands-on activities, and reading with reflection. We will use web-enhanced instruction via TASKSTREAM to integrate technology.
