In this Professional Development System University-School Partnership, public school partners as well as university faculty, have an important voice in determining what the partnership will look like. Principals, site coordinators, administrators and partnership teachers have opportunities to speak directly to the university concerning their needs and the direction they think the partnership should go.” Many collaborative frameworks afford the opportunity for university partners to listen to their public school colleagues and respond to their suggestions.
