Adding standards to a lesson plan.

1.With the lesson you wish to attach the document to open, scroll down and find the "Standards" brown button, and click it once.

2. You can add state or national standards, for this example we will add standards from the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. From the window that appears, click view state standards .

3. From the map of the US, click once on North Carolina.

4. Third choice from the bottom is North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Click once on that one.

5. You will now see all the subjects covered in the NC Standard Course of Study. For our example, click the go to next level button beside "Mathematics". We will then choose our grade level. For the example, click the go to next level button beside "Third Grade."

6. We will now continue to click the go to next level button, until we at at the standard we want to add. You have not gone far enough until you see check boxes beside which you can place a check by clicking in the box.

 

7. Once you have your standards selected, scroll to the bottom and click the green Accept and Return button.

8. You can have more than one standard, in addition, you can even add standards after you have placed in original ones. Simply click on the standards button again from your lesson plan, and then click once on the yellow add more standards button.
